Houses built to more stringent performance standards such as Passive House or Zero Net Carbon are allowed only a small amount of air leakage through the building envelope. A Mini-Fan Blower Door System, using a Minneapolis Duct Blaster® fan, can be just the right size when regularly testing these high-performance buildings. The system is also fast and effective way to test individual apartments in multi-residential buildings. Light and fast, these systems optimise the testing process.

The lightweight Duct Blaster® fan weighs only ~3 kilograms but delivers enough airflow to test small or efficient homes. Provides quick and accurate airtightness measurements from 20 – 2,300 m3/hr.

This complete kit includes the Minneapolis Duct Blaster® fan and controller, door frame and fabric, and the DG-1000 Pressure and Flow Gauge, and accessory cases. The system provides both pressurization and depressurization testing, with Cruise Control to automatically control the speed of the Duct Blaster® fan during testing. Software is included.   • In addition, the DG-1000 has many connection options for automated data collection, including Bluetooth, WiFi, Ethernet, and USB. It can also connect to a laptop computer using TECTITE software to conduct fully automated Blower Door tests. It can also be used with TECLOG4 software for more advanced testing and for large commercial buildings.
